"The inspiration for this sculpture was an American Indian wedding vase, where two parts evolve from one. Indeed, the sculpture is two pieces in one. On one side is the detailed sculpting of two distinct entities (a man and a woman; an eagle and a lamb) coming together as one in love. The other side is a more contemporary modernistic side consisting of an aesthetic flow of simple lines which romantically frame the woman and the man united."
