The sculpture composition of the depicting the Flight Into Egypt is a limited edition cast bronze made by Marco was inspired by a Baroque style relief carving in stone done in the 12th century and is found in southern France. Three bronze sculptures include Joseph, Mary with Jesus, and a donkey. Joseph has a lead rope (made of bronze wire) that is attached to the donkey’s halter, and Mary holding Jesus rides side saddle on the donkey. Joseph has a backpack carrying his carpenter tools. The piece can be done in pigmented patinas or classic bronze patinas.
